Marigny Retreat | Steps to Trolley, French Quarter

Lots of great things about this place: comfy beds; enough kitchen equipment (New Orleans is one of the few places I'm not gonna cook, so it doesn't have to be great, just adequate); nice little deck; fresh loquats off the neighbor's tree, looks like there's a fig tree as well but I can't confirm in March; half a block to the Rampart streetcar; short walk to Frenchmen Street; great parking; colorful, friendly neighbors; good communication with the host. Living room couches could be more comfortable, but they worked, everything else was A. Highly recommend

The property was as described, very clean and modern. It had everything we needed. It's close to the #46 line, which is an easy and quick trip to Canal street. The only downside was the neighborhood is not great, even though we never felt unsafe there. We also spent most of our time in the kitchen since the couches in the living/sitting room were not comfortable to sit around in. For the price, and it's nearness to the French Quarter, I would stay here again.

We needed a break. Where better to get away than the Big Easy. We picked this house based on its proximity to Frenchmen St and the clubs and restaurants to be found there. It was perfect. We walked to many of the spots and those that were a tad too far were an easy Uber ride away. The house itself was spacious, bright and inviting with plenty of communal space, but also privacy if desired. Nicely appointed and spotlessly clean we couldn't have asked for a better place. Dan, the host, was responsive and helped us get through some booking issues (on our end) with grace and patience. When we go back we'll be sure to book this place again.

good location for festivalclean and comfortable

Since there were 8 of us, we did fill up the place. The beds were comfortable, but the couches could be updated and more comfortable. Not really enough seating for 8 in any one place. Road noise was a problem at times but a pretty good location for exploring New Orleans. Management was very responsive.
