New Build Stylish Haven in Bywater + Parking

Positive: Location next to bus stop. Modern facilities. Negative: —No advanced notice of difficulty of entering the garage with a severely marked banking, causing scraping under the car. — the light in the master bathroom over the sink did not work. We contacted the owner late Saturday evening, upon our arrival and his response was to ask us to videotape all the mistakes that we found. We found this very unusual, and after we sent it, his response was that he couldn’t see videos on his phone. There was also a loudly squeaking door in the master bedroom that we initially asked to have fixed. We eventually got a note from him on Tuesday saying that they could come in on Wednesday and fix everything. Since we were leaving Thursday morning, we felt this waste of our time and an intrusion on us not being available when this was going to be done.

Positive: Excellent on cleanliness and there was plenty of essential items. The location was good for the Bywater Art District and there was several places to eat and drink around the area. We walked from the apartment to the French Quarter via the walking trail in the park but we definitely got our steps in that day! I liked this place for having a full day in New Orleans and then going back to a quite, peaceful place for a good nights sleep. Negative: Overall our stay was excellent but there was two things that I didn’t expect. Getting into the parking garage, no matter how you enter the garage in a car you will scrape the bottom of your car and it sounds rough. And second, although there was natural light coming into the apartment, you couldn’t see out the windows as they were too high.
