Quiet and quaint. Positive: This room in the picture was was the unit I originally booked, but was not the unit we stayed in. Property is really quiet. Loved the option to book three bedrooms and two baths (having my two daughters 21 and 28 join us). Celebrated my 60th, my oldest daughter graduating with her PhD in Neuroscience, my youngest daughter‘s 21st birthday the 16th and a private milestone for my husband. Loved the thermostats and air conditioners in each room. Really heavy entry doors. Staying on the second floor to go up and down the stairs because the elevator is so godly slow. Loved the Inside room with no windows. I liked how dark it was. Option to use washer and dryer (We didn’t), and option to use stove and oven (we didn’t). Negative: We had 201. The original room I booked (obviously was the unit across the hall from us) apparently was going to be under renovations (or the owner needed the unit) and they had to switch rooms. This 201 unit, Windows in main part of living area were dirty. Looks like they have not been cleaned in who knows how long. Rug under couch needs to be rotated and the mat underneath it needs to be hidden. Or replace the whole thing. Didn’t look vacuumed. It would be nice to have runners on the sides of the beds or at the base of the bed where you’re always walking. Beds: WHY WHY WHY is the top sheet on top of the comforter? Do you know how disgusting it is thinking that THAT comforter is on top of anyone who sleeps in that bed because there’s no top sheet in between you and the comforter? We had to change the bedding on all three beds, so the top sheet was on top of the bed and the comforter on top of the top sheet. Tell whoever is doing the rooms to stop doing that. Of all people, my husband was so grossed out by that. And he never says anything about rooms or units or places we stay in, but that was the one comment he made. Disliked Bathroom on the inside room (with no windows). The shower was tile, but the floor pan was not and it sagged towards the middle where the drain is. I kept catching my foot on the drain. Floor pan held water in the back part of the shower. Showerhead water pressure trickles out and either needs to be replaced or cleaned (soaked) with vinegar. Water pressure was not very strong coming out of the showerhead. Felt like I had to rinse my hair longer than needed. No bath mats!? A hand towel was placed to be used as a bathmat? That was my first red flag. Went upstairs and grabbed a pool towel and we used that. Had to fight for mirror space with the bathroom door. Should actually be a barn door rather than an open and closed handle. The space for the sink there’s nowhere to put anything but small essentials.
