French Quarter, Walk to Canal & Bourbon St, Pool

The location of the property was great and very convenient. Unfortunately, our experience with the host and the charges after our stay was disappointing. During our stay, we found what appeared to be a water bug/roach in one of the bedrooms and notified the host. We were told that water bugs are fairly common in New Orleans. Because my mother was uncomfortable sleeping in that room afterward, she chose to sleep in another bedroom. We decided not to pursue the matter further and continued with our stay. Also, approximately two weeks after our stay, I noticed a $131.98 charge to my card. I received an email after the charge was processed stating that there were stains on a pillow and towels. I was surprised by both the amount of the charge and the fact that it was made two weeks after our stay. I travel frequently and have never encountered a situation like this. My biggest concern is how a $131.98 charge is justified for stained linens, especially when there was no damage beyond what could reasonably be expected with normal use of hotel linens and towels.
