French Quarter, Next to Saenger Theater, Canal St

This was a very pleasant stay and we would recommend it to others traveling to New Orleans. Positive: We booked a 3 bedroom apartment. The shared living space was small but comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice, and the place was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were dark and cool, and great for sleeping. We loved the location - very easy to get to other places in the city, and right off the streetcar line. We also loved the bar downstairs, Dovetail. Negative: This is not a hotel, despite the name. It is a building full of apartments. There is no lobby or concierge, and no place to leave luggage when you get there early or leave. But our hosts were able to get us in early when we arrived, so that problem was solved.
